INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT I

2020-2021

Served on cybersecurity team and innovation cloud teams as liaison for US government with a TS/SCI clearance. Observed infrastructures employing system virtualization, on-premises, cloud monitoring, logging, and cloud storage. Evaluated firewall configurations, ports and protocols, availability zones, virtual private clouds, government cloud architectures, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. Created security briefings for the Chief Information Security Officer as well as other Cybersecurity and DevSecOps Leadership. Prepared security posture playbooks interwoven into deployments for cybersecurity leadership, network engineers, cloud architects, authorization and assessment colleagues, and DevSecOps leadership.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT II

2020-2021

Collaborated with private industry in evaluating impact levels security standards for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Identified ingress and egress enclave data flow for MCS/COP collaboration as well as prepared frameworks according to well-architected industry standards. Served as Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in preparation for ML/AI algorithmic deliverables in addition to encouraged governance, metrics, risk mitigation strategies in the innovation space for successful workflows and long-term evolution.

FORENSICS

2017-2020

Built with full-stack methodologies to deploy a DNS cybersecurity system. Identified current security infrastructure and expanded my original design of large data translations into DNS evaluations, persistent threat mitigation, and forensics. Proactively created solutions and improvements which balanced risk and long-term strategy/goals employed through APIs, certificate and key management, and data protection. Leveraged scalelable hybrid cloud-based solution architectures employing identity and access management.

DEMILITARIZED ZONES

2017-2019

Built ScienceDMZ, data transfer instruments, within the GT campus data center architecture for cyberinfrastructure facilitators in higher education research and science conducting big data transfers. Leveraged ESnet large data transfer servers.

Partnered with Georgia Tech School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) team and Georgia Tech Chief Network Architect on large data transfers and DNS scanning research.

Designed and developed a symptom capturing application for caretakers utilizing Docker containers, Jenkins, and PhoneGap for the levering of electronic health records, namely FHIR RESTful API.

Configured an Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) opening the SQL server to the Georgia Institute of Technology virtual private network address space.
